Spray the door key with a graphite based lubricant.
After enough use you might find that your door lock has begun to stick making it difficult to put in turn or pull out your key.
This occurs when dust dirt grime and other buildup accumulates on the internal mechanisms that control the movement of the lock.
If you happen to have some spray lubricant in the car or the garage you can usually unstick the key fairly.

Spray lubricant like wd 40 makes a great assistant when attempting to retrieve a key stuck in a lock and most cans come with a tiny straw nozzle for getting into spaces as tight as a keyhole.
Do not remove the key and take it back out.
It may work only once.
If you get the key to turn the jammed ignition go straight to a locksmith to get it pulled and repaired.
